During the Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA), in Aveiro- Portugal, on February 2024, participants engaged in a comprehensive exploration of migrant education and the challenges it presents. The event focused on three key aspects: PR1, PR2, and PR3.

The first day delved into the analysis of PR1 materials, diving deep into the intricate universe of migrant education. The overarching aim of the project is to address contemporary challenges by emphasizing the importance of key competencies and paving the way for sustainable employment, lifelong learning, and social inclusion.

The second day was dedicated to learning and training activities related to PR2: The learning portfolio for migrants to succeed in entering Vocational Education and Training (VET). Dany Amorim from Escola Profissional de Aveiro enriched the day with a thought-provoking talk on “Last Chance Education” and its role in enhancing key competencies. The day was filled with inspiring learning experiences.

On the final day, the focus shifted to learning and training activities linked to PR2 and PR3. Participants explored the “Virtual Guidance Support System,” a crucial element in ensuring the success of migrants entering Vocational Education and Training (VET). Additionally, they delved into teachers’ perspectives on what stakeholders should consider when planning and making decisions about teaching for migrants.

Throughout the event, each step was guided by the vision of building an inclusive and accessible educational future, where migrants can thrive and contribute to society through sustainable employment, lifelong learning, and social inclusion.
