Learning portfolio
TARGET GROUP: Migrant learners in integration or language training who intend to apply for vocational education (VET)
DESCRIPTION: This learning portfolio is built around the online skills matrix that allows migrant learners to recognize their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to the following 5 key competences:
- Literacy competence
- Personal, social and learning to learn competence
- Mathematical competence and competence in science technology, and engineering
- Digital competence
- Cultural competence
The aim of the learning portfolio is to allow migrant learners to collect and document their existing skills and to further develop the skills that needs further development for them to be able to transform from integration/language learning to vocational education (VET) or the world of work. The portfolio is built up in a way that shows how the migrants can select and use the parts they need for various situations, for examples to apply for VET or a job. We will also show how the migrant can build up a portfolio that consists of materials that can be used with the trainer during the education or independently.
MAIN AIM: Make existing skills and competences visible and assist migrant learners in integration or language training to further develop skills that helps them enter VET, succeed in studies and in working life in general.
